The Hereford Heckler started life in early 2008. It was originally the bi-monthly paper of Hereford Solidarity League, a local group based around the principles of freedom, community and equality. The paper offered a radical perspective on issues affecting the people of Herefordshire and beyond.
After 20 issues of being published in this format, the Heckler now primarily exists as an independent web-based publication and blog, with a news sheet produced every other month. This new format will fully come into shape, along with a new website, in early 2012.
